PlayStation 4 Launches in November

Sony has officially announced the release date for their upcoming next-generation platform. Despite early reports suggesting that the system will be launching in late October, Sony took the stage at Gamescom today to announced that the PlayStation 4 will be heading to stores in North America on November 15 and in Europe on November 29. This gives them time to perfect everything possible for the system, and allow a number of games to be ready in the process.

Additionally, while Sony hasn’t officially detailed their launch lineup, here are the confirmed launch window titles (with more to come):

  • Knack (SCE Japan, SCEA)
  • Killzone: Shadowfall (Guerrilla Games, SCEA)
  • LEGO Marvel Superheroes (Tt Games, Warner Bros.)
  • Madden NFL 25 (EA Sports, Electronic Arts)
  • NBA 2K14 (Visual Concepts, 2K Sports)
  • NBA LIVE 14 (EA Sports, Electronic Arts)
