We’re not sure why Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut isn’t out yet. We were able to play a substantial amount of the Wii U version of the game at PAX East back in march (before being scolded by a developer for referring to it as a “port”) and it seemed nearly completed. Five months later, the game has been delayed multiple times and is currently set for a November 15 release date, which seems like a horrible idea considering, you know, the PS4 and like twenty other games come out that day.
The good news is that it’s not outright dead, as evidenced by a new Wii U gameplay video released today. Clocking in a nearly ten minutes, the video is a walkthrough of the FEMA camp leading up to Barrett’s boss fight. A mock-up of the Wii U GamePad is shown on the bottom left hand of the screen at all times, showing off its features. There’s mission logs, weapon inventory, a map editor, the smart vision plus feature and more.
