Wasteland 2 level demo

There are few games with as heavy a reputation as Wasteland, also known as the mother to the Fallout series; a game that has been demanding a sequel since shortly after its release in 1988. As the original post-apocalyptic adventure, it offered RPG players something radically different; a beautifully crafted story set “in the year 2087,  in Southwestern United States following a global nuclear war,” lively characters, and a world to explore that wasn’t the typical fantasy realm heavily associated with the RPG genre. Many years and a wildly successful Kickstarter campaign later, we have Wasteland 2, straight from the mind of its diabolical father, Brian Fargo. For those of you that are unfamiliar with the name, Mr. Fargo has been behind or involved in the development of the original Fallout, Wasteland, Bards Tale, Neuromancer and many more highly revered titles.

For that matter, the entire team behind Wasteland 2 is comprised of true RPG talent, including many of the original Wasteland developers, as well as the Fallout and Fallout 2 composer, Mark Morgan. The game was written by Colin McComb, the outrageously talented writer responsible for Planescape: Torment, and  is being co-developed by Chris Avellone of Obsidian Entertainment. If you know your stuff, you know that this roster is as impressive as it gets when it comes to Role-Playing games. Wasteland 2 has yet to receive an official release date, but the game seems to be coming along finely, making the speculated and briefly mentioned 2013 date seem more likely.
