Since E3, we’ve known that the Xbox One’s launch would occur at some time in November. The recent announcement of the PS4’s release on November 15 led people to wonder if it would be a week before or after that given that it needs to be out before Black Friday. Well, today the speculation ended when it was announced that the system will launch in 13 markets including North America and the UK on November 22. All of the cards are on the table when it comes to each platform’s launch, and both companies have a bit over two months to convince as many people as possible to either buy their system — or just throw reasons out there why they avoid the other. Even before launch, the system war between the Xbox One and PS4 has been more bitter than has been in gaming in many years and that will only intensify as the launch of each system draws closer.
