While Rome II proved to be quite the achievement for modern RTS titles, it also came with a myriad of issues. Different players have encountered varying degrees of bugs, but it was rare not to experience at least a handful of frustrating ones. Developers Creative Assembly have accepted the blame for the issues and stated that they are striving to fix them as soon as possible. Looking to make good on that promise, the Patch 2 for the game is now live and brings with it over a hundred fixes including AI round time improvement, additional option settings and much more. The patch is of course free and will automatically be applied to player’s accounts upon restarting.
Full patch notes can be found here. Patch 3 enters beta testing soon and brings with it changes to battle gameplay and even more improvements.
