Deus Ex Director’s Cut Release Date; Future Plans for Franchise Revealed

The originally Wii U exclusive Director’s Cut of Deus Ex: Human Revolution was scheduled for May of this year, but when the time came and past without any news, we were left baffled. After many months of wondering if we’d be able to get our greedy little paws on the reworked product, Square Enix finally broke their silence and announced a release date. It has been confirmed today that the enhanced version of 2010’s popular release will be out on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Wii U platforms October 22 in North America, with a European launch coming three days later.

Additionally, Eidos has released information regarding the future of the stealth-action franchise, specifically a next generation game codenamed Deus Ex: Universe.
