The last 12 months have been quite possibly the biggest in gaming history with Grand Theft Auto V, Tomb Raider, Bioshock Infinite and The Last of Us, but the year can’t come to a close without its annual Call of Duty. The next step in Infinity Ward’s franchise is not only a next-generational transition, but a whole new series within the popular first-person shooter franchise.
Ghosts will deliver quite possibly one of the most fulfilling multiplayer experiences in any Call of Duty game, and here are more reasons why. Activision has released additional deals on forming squads, allowing you to test your skills against cutting edge artificial intelligence, or going head-to-head with others online. This includes modes such as Wargame that scales in difficulty to match your level, Squad Assault which seems to dive into asynchronous multiplayer and a co-op survival mode called Safeguard. Call of Duty: Ghosts will be out on current-generation platforms November 5, with next-generation counterparts coming a couple weeks later.
