Like most Assassin’s Creed games there have been pieces of downloadable content that were sold after release. Unlike most games, though, the Assassin’s Creed franchise has mainly offered single player expansions rather than charging for online components. This may because this is a series that has always had a stronger focus on telling a story rather than a competitive multiplayer.
Just three weeks away, the first downloadable scenario has been revealed. Offering nine new mission with over three hours of self-contained gameplay, you will get to know more about Kenway’s quartermaster Adewale and his years in slavery. Freedom Cry will be made available sometime in March at an unknown price (although it will be included in the $19.99 season pass), and will take place fifteen years after the events of Black Flag.
