Daedalic Entertainment, best known for their impressive adventure game catalogue, has branched off into foreign genre. Announced earlier this year, the turned-based RPG will have you collecting various questionable figures across the land to help prove your innocence. This takes place in the The Dark Eye universe, a brooding and dreary fantasy world that is immensely popular in Germany.
Originally scheduled for a November release, Daedalic has decided to push the game a couple of months to January. Having seen Blackguards at both GDC and E3 this year, it definitely has promising mechanics and looks to tell an intriguing story. Blackguards will be released through digital PC vendors such as Steam and most likely GOG.
