New Ad Argues Why PS4 Is The Best Place To Play

The epic moment of the PS4 and Xbox One launches are almost here.  In just three weeks the PS4 will release and four for the Xbox One.  The next-gen wars are heating up and Sony’s latest ad takes a huge stab at Microsoft and its first-party games.

The ad focuses on games that are excessive to the PS4 or that have exclusive content.  It claims that there are 24 PS4 exclusive titles announced so far.  The biggest being inFamous: Second Son, Killzone: Shadow Fall, Driveclub, Knack and The Order: 1886.  Titles that have exclusive content include LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, Destiny and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag among others.

Sony also confirms that 14 award-winning studios are working on PS4 games.  These include Media Molecule, Sony Santa Monica and Naughty Dog.  This lines up with what Sony said earlier this year that their first-party studios have all transitioned from developing PS3 games to developing PS4 games.

The commercial ends stating that over 180 games are in development for PS4, which is apparently more than any other next-gen console.  How truthful this statement is is something we’ll have to wait and see.  We do know that PS4 will have more exclusive games within its first year compared to Xbox One.  Sony announced 20 exclusives that will launch in the consoles first year compared to 15 for Xbox One.
