Yesterday, Ubisoft revealed that they will be releasing the PS3 version of Assassin’s Creed: Liberation HD in January. However, they failed to provide a concrete date or make any mention of the Xbox 360 and PC versions. Now we have that date.
Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed: Liberation HD will launch on PS3 January 14, 2014 in North America and January 15, 2014 in Europe. The PC version will launch worldwide on January 15, 2014. No exact date was given for the Xbox 360 version, but it will launch sometime January 2014. Players can download the game for only $19.99/ £15.99.
Assassin’s Creed: Liberation HD is and HD Remaster of Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation for PS Vita. Players will play as Aveline as they race atop the roofs of New Orleans and the trees of the nearby swamp to uncover a Templar conspiracy that could plunge the whole region into chaos.
Ubisoft has completely remastered the game for its HD release and have built upon the solid mechanics of the PS Vita title to make it play even better on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. New content has also been created that dive deeper into Aveline’s story.
There are two deals going on. PS3 and PC owners that pre-order the game through PSN and Uplay will get 25% off the full game. Xbox 360 owners can get 25% off be purchasing the Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Season Pass.
Assassin’s Creed: Liberation HD is out January 14, 2014 in North America and January 15, 2014 in Europe for PS3. The PC version is out January 15, 2014 worldwide. The Xbox 360 version is out sometime January 2014.
