Namco Bandai has announced that they will be offering a patch to fix the many failed log-in attempts that occurred during the Dark Souls 2 beta test. There has been no word regarding why it wasn’t working properly or when to expect the fix, but Namco has apologized via Twitter and is set to correct their mistake as soon as possible.
“We thoroughly apologize for all of the confusion and issues. We will be rescheduling the Network Test for another date — same client will work. Next time you’ll just have to download the patch that will be available.”
Namco has confirmed that there will be more information regarding the patch some time early this week, and has assured that everyone who has downloaded the client will be in the next round once it’s repaired.
