Grand Theft Auto Online is about to turn a month old. While Rockstar was probably hoping this to be a month no one could forget, they probably were hoping that it wouldn’t be thought of negatively. The entire month has been filled with technical problems for Grand Theft Auto V’s online component with Rockstar doing its best to keep updates incoming.
Rockstar has released some updates on the GTA$ Stimulus Package that is set to distribute $500,000 to players who logged in in October. The first $250,000 was supposed to release this week, but Rockstar had to delay it due to a persistent glitch that deletes the player’s character. they’re hoping to have a title update sometime next week that will fix the remaining issues and then can begin distributing the money.
They would also like to remind players that the first content update, The Beach Bum Pack, will be available early November. This content will add new beached themed vehicles and weaponry that can be used in Grand Theft Auto V’s story mode and Grand Theft Auto Online. On top of this will be plenty of new jobs to partake in with Gang Attacks, Survivals, Last Team Standings, Parachutes, Deathmatches and Races.
Grand Theft Auto Online’s Content Creator will make its debut this Fall. This will give players the ability to craft, publish, rate and play custom-made Deathmatch and Race Jobs. Quality ones will be stamped as “Rockstar Verified” and will be featured by the developer.
Grand Theft Auto V is available now on PS3 and Xbox 360. Grand Theft Auto Online is offered free with every copy of the game.
