UK Charts: Batman: Arkham Origins Beats Grand Theft Auto V Into Submission

The latest UK Charts are in and it looks like the Dark Knight is the top dog this week.  Warner Bros. third Batman Arkham game launched last week on PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U to some mixed reviews, but it looks like fans were quick to snatch up the game.  Grand Theft Auto V, the reigning champ, was pushed down into the second spot followed by FIFA 14 in third.

The only other big release last week was Ubisoft’s Rocksmith 2014 Edition.  Despite retooling the game to be better than the original title it seems that people just aren’t into music-themed games anymore.  Rocksmith 2014 Edition entered the charts in the fifteenth spot.

It was also another bad week for a Wii U exclusive.  Sonic: Lost World opened to the eleventh spot last week, but is now in the twenteith.  The big Wii U exclusive for October will most likely drop out of the charts next week.
