PS4 Launch Lineup Is Weaker Than Expected

It’s not long ago that PlayStation 4 seemed to have a promising lineup of games. Variety and substance were just a few of the reasons to ensure your console was reserved for day one pick-up. Unfortunately, with the recent announcement of their definitive lineup (in the PS4: Ultimate FAQ), Sony seems to be a two-trick pony, offering several niche indie-esque titles, a few triple A shooters and very little else.

Sony Titles:

  • Flower
  • Killzone: Shadow Fall
  • Knack
  • Resogun
  • Sound Shapes

Third-Party Titles:

  • Angry Birds Star Wars
  • Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
  • Call of Duty: Ghosts
  • FIFA 14
  • Battlefield 4
  • Just Dance 2014
  • Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition
  • Lego Marvel Super Heroes
  • Madden NFL 25
  • NBA 2k14

Indie Titles:

  • Contrast
  • Pinball Arcade

I don’t know about you folks, but my $400 investment is going to be rather lonely until the launch-window title influx begins.
