Walkthough Ubisoft’s ‘Child of Light’ With Lead Programmer Brianna Code

If Rayman Legends and Origins proved anything, it’s that the Ubi-Art Framework is awesome. Allowing games to look like hand-drawn cartoons with animation never quite seen before in gaming, it’s an exciting engine that more games should utilize. One of those games is Child of Light, created by a small team of seasoned developers at Ubisoft Montreal. A  re-imagining of classic fairy-tales, the game invites players on an epic adventure through the magic painted world of Lemuria. With turn-based combat inspired by classic JRPGs and a poem-based story, it’s looking like a game worth taking note of.

Today, Ubisoft has released a walkthrough of the game with Brianna Code, who’s worked on games like Company of Heroes, Assassin’s Creed and more. She takes us through over four minutes of the game, showing off the beautiful watercolor-esque visuals and explaining its unique gameplay.

Child of Light will be released at an undetermined date for Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One, PS4 and Wii U.
