Batman: Arkham Collection Edition Breaks Loose

Warner Bros. is packaging the three Batman Arkham games together into one collection.  The Batman: Arkham Collection Edition will bundle all three games together for release on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.  At the moment, it has only been confirmed for release in the UK on November 22.

The Batman Arkham franchise was developed by Rocksteady Studios up until Batman: Arkham Origins.  Warner Bros. Montreal took over development duties on that title while Rocksteady began work on an unannounced project.  Here are the games that the collection will come with:

  • Batman: Arkham Asylum
  • Batman: Arkham City
  • Batman: Arkham Origins

It’s extremely important to note that Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City will not be physical disks.  Rather, they will be redeemable codes to download the digital versions of the game.  Only Batman: Arkham Origins will be physical.  Also, if you purchase the collection on PS3 or Xbox 360 you will not be getting the Game of the Year Editions of Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, just the bare bones release.  The PC version, however will content the Game of the Year editions of both games.

The Season Pass for Batman: Arkham Origins will not included.  However, the PS3 version will contain a code to download the exclusive Knightfall DLC Pack.

Batman: Arkham Collection Edition is out November 22 in Europe.  No price was mentioned.   We’ll let you know if Warner Bros. announces a North American version.
