PS4 Will Be In Good Supply This Holiday According To Sony

Weren’t able to pre-order a PS4?  Afraid that it’ll be impossible to fine one to stick under the Christmas tree?  Well according to Sony you won’t have to worry about that.

Sony Computer Entertainment CEO Andrew House believes that there will be sufficient supply for Holiday Shoppers.  “You try to strike a balance, particularly for us with such a strong brand in all the European countries and across the Middle East,” he said to Game Informer. “We are ensuring that we have the broadest reach to ensure that people are satisfied, especially when they’ve been loyal to brand for so long. On the other hand, we’re not engendering frustration by having a shortage of supply.

“I think through the holiday season that we’ll be in good supply. The sales target that I announced for the company is five million units sold by the end of the fiscal year.”

This is reassuring news considering the fact that the PS4 is going to be in high demand this Holiday.  The console currently holds the record for most units sold in 24 hours – 1 million units – and sales are expected to rise as more units are made available.

The fiscal year ends March 31, 2014 and Sony is already 1/5 of the way to their 5 million goal.
