EA has released numerous titles for the PS4 for its November 15 launch in North America. Battlefield 4, Need for Speed: Rivals, FIFA 14 and Madden 25 were all there on store shelves for consumers to pick up. According to EA, they picked up a lot of EA games.
COO Peter Moore tweeted a bold claim stating that every third game purchased was an EA title. Moore did not elaborate if he was including strictly retail or both retail and digital. However, no matter which way you slice it, this is quite an impressive achievement. Sony sold over 1 million PS4s on November 15 meaning that EA got a lot of their games in people’s hands.
Currently, our reviews for Need for Speed: Rivals and Madden NFL 25 for PS4 are up and available to read. Our Battlefield 4 review is taking a little bit longer due to crippling issues with the title. Mainly the fact that an error keeps deleting save files. We’ll have it up as soon as we can.
All four EA titles will launch on the Xbox One this Friday in 13 countries. We’ll have to wait and see if EA can pull of the same feat on Microsoft’s new console.
