Battlefield 4: Second Assault DLC Out Tomorrow First On Xbox

The Xbox One launches tomorrow and launching alongside the console is Battlefield 4.  Those who have picked up the game on Xbox 360 or are picking up the Xbox One version tomorrow alongside purchasing a Battlefield Premium membership can download Battlefield 4: Second Assault starting tomorrow.  If you don’t purchase a Battlefield Premium membership then you’ll have to wait until December 3.

Battlefield 4: Second Assault is the first expansion pack for Battlefield 4 and will come with four maps.  The theme of this pack is fan-favorite Battlefield 3 maps.  Four of the best from Battlefield 3 have been selected:

  • Operation Metro
  • Caspian Border
  • Gulf of Oman
  • Operation Firestorm

All four maps have been rebuilt in Frostbite 3 and take full advantage of the engine’s new capabilities.  This includes more destruction and Levolution events.

As announced at E3 2013, Second Assault will launch first on Xbox platforms before making its way to PS4, PS3 and PC.  EA has not provided a date for when PlayStation and PC gamers will be able to get the expansion pack.

Battlefield 4: Second Assault is out November 22 on Xbox One and Xbox 360 for Battlefield Premium members.  It’s out on the same platforms December 3 for non-members.  Check out the maps in action below:
