Nobuo Uematsu’s ‘A New World’ Concert Announced, Will Feature Intimate Music From Final Fantasy

Nobuo Uematsu is one of the best video game composers around. He’s just about the only composer we could even make a top ten list for and his contributions, mainly in the Final Fantasy series, are some of the most memorable video game tunes today. Uematsu and an ensemble of world-class musicians will be playing some of this music in a special two show concert premiere at London’s LSO St Juke’s Jerwood Hall. The concert, which is produced by the same people who are putting on Distant Worlds next week, is a pure live music experience featuring world premier arrangements including a special performance of Final Fantasy VI: Dark World, performed by Uematsu.

Tickets go on sale Wednesday, December 18 and are priced at £50 for the concert or £100 for a VIP ticket which includes admission to a post-concert meet-and-greet with Uematsu and conductor Arnie Roth.
