If there’s one thing that those snooty Windows 8 mobile device users have over us plain ‘ol iOS/Android users, it’s Halo. Ever since July, Windows players have been able to take control of some Spartans as they take down the covenant wherever they are. Of course, thanks to its awkward controls and micro-transactions, the game wasn’t exactly well-received. Perhaps that will all change when the game is released on Xbox One come December 24.
Priced at $14.99, the game will run in 1080p resolution at 60 fps and feature a brand-new cooperative mode, new weapons and the inclusion of the Operation Hydra add-on.
Those who have already purchased the game on a Windows 8 device will be able to purchase the game at a discounted price of $4.99. The game will come to Xbox 360 soon after in January.
