It has been a long a trying time for Battlefield 4 players. The game remains as broken today as it was when it launched a month ago on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. PS4 and Xbox One users should be equally frustrated with their brand new game barely working on their brand new consoles. While Dice and EA have put work on future projects on hold to fix the game it doesn’t look like fans are in the mood to be patient.
Angry Xbox One and Xbox 360 players have successfully petitioned Microsoft into giving them a full refund for their Battlefield 4 Premium subscriptions. It is unknown if the refund is coming out of Microsoft’s or EA’s pockets. Players have noted that their subscriptions were taken away after getting their refund. It is unknown if Sony will be offering PS4 and PS3 subscribers refunds. EA will most likely not issue refunds to PC subscribers.
Battlefield 4 Premium is EA and Dice’s version of a Season Pass that will deliver subscribers new map packs as they arrive and currently costs $49.99. Many developers try and keep gamers hooked to their game with these new maps. The loss of subscribers and their trust in the product could bode poorly for Battlefield 4’s future.
Battlefield 4 is out now on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
