Beware Buying Sorcery Saga: The Curse of the Great Curry God DLC

Earlier this week, Sorcery Saga: The Curse of the Great Curry God released for the PlayStation Vita. While the critical reception was pretty good and our own Bradly Hale gave it a 4 out of 5, you might want to avoid buying the DLC.

For whatever reason, it seems the current DLC, which includes both costumes and voices, have always online DRM attached to them. This was reported by a few angry users on GameFaqs and was backed up by their listings on the PlayStation Store saying “This product can only be accessed with an online connection.”┬áNaturally this means you can only use your costumes and voice packs if you’re currently connected to the internet.

Not only is this an odd policy for a game to enforce, it makes even less sense on a portable platform like the PlayStation Vita. At this moment we don’t know why the DLC was implemented like this, so you might want to keep this in mind before buying any of it.
