Today at the Capcom Cup fighting game event, Capcom revealed two new gameplay modes for Ultra Street Fighter IV.
The first addition is an Online Training mode, where you and another person can train with one another. This is an interesting addition, since it will help gamers in a number of different ways. These include having a stress free environment to hone your skills, someone that can help you with specific difficulties and most importantly, get better at pulling off your combos online.
The other mode is called Team Battle and brings 3v3 matches online. Here you can make a team of your favorite three world warriors and see if you have what it takes to dominate your opponent. This is a huge plus for people looking to fight a more diverse range of characters, since it will discourage using standards like Ryu, Chun li, Ken, Akuma and the like. Thats not to say you won’t fight a lot of them, but it should increase your chances of seeing some different faces.
All these features, plus five new characters and additional rebalancing are included with Ultra Street Fighter IV. For those of you with Super Street Fighter IV or Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition will be able to do a digital upgrade to Ultra Street Fighter IV for $14.99 in early June 2014. The physical version will be available in August for $29.99.
