Sony’s Bravia line of TVs have always been high-quality. The hardware manufacturer has always invested a lot of time and money into developing new technologies that make their TV lineup shine. Every year they come to the Consumer Electronics Show with a fresh line of stunning TVs. CES 14 is no different, but Sony is trying something new with their TV design.
The flagship W950B and W850B utilize a brand new Wedge design that increases the capacity to incorporate larger speakers. This gives consumers a deeper, more powerful sound that has been missing from most flat-screen TVs. Sony also claims that this new design will increase the stability of the TV by lowering the center of gravity.
W950B consumers will also enjoy a lot of extra goodies. This model includes Sony’s TRILUMINOS Display technology that delivers stunning picture and color clarity. This is also the first TV to utilize Sony’s proprietary X-tended Dynamic Range that helps the TV to achieve a more dynamic range of brightness and deeper blacks.
Sony has not announced pricing for any of their new TV models, however they will all be releasing sometime this Spring. You can find out more about each model here.
