A few days ago Ubisoft announced the Far Cry: The Wild Expedition for Europe and the Far Cry Compilation for North America. At the time it was believed that the contents for each compilation would be the same, but it turns out to not be the case. Ubisoft has cleared up the differences between both compilations.
Far Cry: The Wild Expedition is for Europe and will contain everything announced a few days ago. Those who pick this up will get Far Cry, Far Cry 2, Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. It’s out February 14 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
Far Cry Compilation is the North American bundle and will still cost $39.99 as previously stated, however it is missing something. This bundle will only come with Far Cry 2, Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. The original Far Cry will not be made available, a real shame seeing as the game has never been released on consoles. It is currently unknown if Ubisoft plans on releasing the game via PSN or Xbox Live. Far Cry Compilation is still out on February 11, but it is now a PS3 exclusive.
