The Last of Us could very well be the Citizen Kane of gaming. Naughty Dog’s PS3 swan-song was beautiful, played well and, most importantly, delivered a deep and moving story. It was beloved and so when Naughty Dog announced there would be single player DLC people became excited.
The Last of Us: Left Behind was announced at the PS4 launch event and would star Ellie alongside her friend, Riley. There hasn’t been much else announced about the DLC aside from a short trailer featuring Riley play a cruel prank on Ellie as she slept. The release date has also been under wraps, but the cat may be out of the bag.
Neogaf users had discovered the listing for The Last of Us: Left Behind on the PlayStation Store and it seems that someone at Sony has made quite the goof. A snapped picture of the listing shows that the DLC will release on February 14, 2014. Included as a bonus is a dynamic theme and comic. All of this supposedly costs $14.99. Adding legitimacy to this image is the fact that Sony has changed the listing on the store.
