UK Charts: Mario Party: Island Tour Crashes And Burns During First Week

Saying this past week was not Nintendo’s best would be an understatement.  Apart from the dreaded Financial Forecast to the crashing of their stock, Nintendo could do with a bit of good news.  Sadly, they aren’t going to get that from the UK Charts.

Mario Party: Island Tour for 3DS, the only brand new release for the week in the UK, crashed and burned coming in at only the eighteenth place.  This is the lowest a Mario game has ever debuted on the UK Charts.  This is pretty much the same predicament that The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds faced when it debuted in the UK near the same position.
