Tecmo Koei has announced via Twitter that Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z will be delayed to March 18 in North America and March 21 in Europe. In development for PS3, Xbox 360 and Windows, the game was previously schedule to release in Europe first on February 28 before making its way to North America on March 4. This news will be frustrating for fans of the franchise, especially after the disappointing 2012 release of Ninja Gaiden 3, but hopefully a little extra time in the oven will produce a much more polished and enjoyable hack-n-slash experience. Yaiba is a collaboration between Tecmo Koei and Keiji Inafune, most famous for his exploits in the Mega Man series, who is also currently working on his own title Mighty No. 9.
