Epic Games Collaborates with Staffordshire University for Epic Games Centre

Not only is the company behind the Unreal Engine still developing games, but they have established a two-year partnership with Staffordshire University, resulting in the Epic Games Centre.

It’s a mutually beneficial agreement that “enables students to have a direct link with Epic and a direct line to the heart of the industry,” says Epic’s EU Territory Manager Mike Gamble. “In turn, Epic and its developer partners will have access to these world-class facilities along with a new generation of game makers totally immersed within the world of Unreal Engine technology.”

The partnership provides students with “hardware, teaching time and access to software and key personnel.” The school currently offers eight game design courses.
