Once upon a time, Goichi Suda (Suda 51) was a game developer whose games never made it to North America. Once Killer7 hit, things began to change. Now it’s hard to find someone who hasn’t heard of at least one of his games. Namco Bandai announced a new title for western release with Suda 51 at the helm.
Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day is a visually-impressive sidescolling action game focused on a teen named Ranko. She splits her life between going to school and being a skilled hitman. Apparently, Ranko isn’t your typical schoolgirl. Suda 51 will assume the role of director while Crispy’s Inc will develop it. Crispy’s is best known for their wild PSN title Tokyo Jungle.
As of right now, Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day is a PS3 exclusive and is expected to arrive sometime during Spring 2014.
