According to Capcom’s financial results report, which covered the first 3 quarters of its fiscal year, Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies, Resident Evil: Revelations and Dead Rising 3 have all managed to reach and surpass their projected sales. The WayForward-developed DuckTales remastered also performed better than the company expected.
Unsurprisingly, as the series is insanely popular in Japan, Monster Hunter 4 handily exceeded the company’s expectations. On the flipside, Lost Planet 3 failed to gain an audience and performed well below expectations.
Capcom’s net sales increased to 75,221 million yen, nicely up 3.5% from the same term last year. However, operating income decreased to 8,521 million yen, down a substantial 13.4 % from the same term last year. Net income for the current period also decreased, falling to 5,957 million yen, down 10.3 % from the same term last year.
