BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma Dukes It Out on Vita This Summer

Publisher Aksys Games is planning to release BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma on Vita in North America. While details about this version have been scarce up and to this point, it would seem Aksys is finally ready to reveal some information about the game. First up is a launch window; the Vita iteration will release this coming summer, while its console counterpart will hit stores next month. Secondly, the Vita installment will include an exclusive scenario that sees Noel, Ragna, Celicia and Kagura all hanging out at the beach.

Moreover, the Vita release will feature summaries of BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger and BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, so newcomers can get caught up on the series’ rather fantastic story. At any rate, BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma for Vita will come fully-featured with all of the modes from the console versions such as Arcade, Unlimited Mars, Survival and the enhanced Abyss mode.

While a specific launch date hasn’t been unveiled, be on the lookout for one as the summer months draw closer.
