Konami has confirmed the resolution of all the consoles Ground Zeroes will be released on, and PlayStation 4 is in the lead with 1080p. The Xbox One is treated to 720p, along with the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will run at a smooth 60fps according to Konami, while last-gen platforms will experience a consistent 30.
While the 1080p vs. 720p seems to be a reoccurring current-gen issue, I’m just glad we’ll be seeing 60fps where it matters most. Several comparison pictures were released as well, detailing the graphical differences between each of the platforms. Check them out below, and look forward to picking up Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes on March 18.
