It was announced today via the OUYA Forum that the OUYA’s servers will be undergoing maintenance at 6 AM PST/9 AM EST on Tuesday February 18. This means that the Discover storefront won’t be useable, and some games (presumably those with an online setup of some kind) will show up as not being purchased. The goal of the update is to allow the servers to handle more people being on them, which is a pretty clear sign that the system is selling at least reasonably well given expectations. If you want to download anything on the OUYA storefront, do so today to ensure that you’ll at least have it when the servers are down. There’s no word on how long they’ll be down for, but hopefully it’s only for part of the day Tuesday. Since the system’s official launch in June, this is the first time the servers have gone down for any reason.
