Bethesda Softworks Won’t Be Making a New Game Announcement Anytime Soon

If you’re anticipating a Fallout 4 or any kind of announcement from Bethesda Softworks then you’ll have to keep on waiting.  Bethesda Game Director Todd Howard has revealed that there won’t be any game announcement from the developer anytime soon.

“We don’t [have a timeframe for our next game announcement] but I think it’s gonna be a while,” Howard told Rock, Paper, Shotgun.

“We’ve gotten fairly used to all the questions and curiosity over the years. Everyone wants information. Right now, we’re just trying to figure out which of our ideas are going to stick and finding an appropriate time to talk about it.”

Fallout 4 has long been rumored.  Last December it was leaked that the game would be set in Boston, Massachusetts.  Bethesda Softworks has not released a game since 2011 with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim so a new game from the developer/publisher should be expected soon.

We’ll keep you updated should more news concerning Fallout 4 or any other Bethesda Softworks title be announced.
