Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate Heading to PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U

Last year Batman: Arkham Origins launched on PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U. This full-sized Batman game wasn’t the only Batman title to be released, however. Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate was released alongside the main game on PS Vita and 3DS, and served as an epilogue to the console title. Although this April you won’t have to be a handheld owner to play the game.

Warner Bros. has announced Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate – Deluxe Edition for PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U. ┬áThe game will be a downloadable title through PSN, Xbox Live, Steam and Nintendo eShop starting April 1. A price has yet to be announced. Armature Studio, the team behind the PS Vita and 3DS versions, is handling the port.

Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate – Deluxe Edition will grace the consoles and PC with HD visuals, new map and hint systems, objective tracking, 5.1 surround sound and a fully voiced narrative. ┬áThere will be Trophies/Achievements for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC versions.

Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate is a 2.5D brawler that has Batman traversing through Blackgate prison after a riot ensues. The game serves to introduce Catwoman to Batman in the Batman Arkham universe. You can see what we thought about it in our review.
