Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare was one of the craziest games to be announced at E3 2013. This game takes the Plants vs. Zombies franchise in a whole new direction as a Third-Person, Class-Based Shooter. Well the game is out next week on Xbox One and Xbox 360 and Major Nelson has some brand new footage to show us.
This new bit of gameplay showcases the Gardens and Graveyards mode, which pits the Plants against the Zombies. It also breaks down the different classes on both teams showing off their weapons and special abilities. For example, the Cactus is capable of releasing a remote-controlled Garlic Drone that snipes at enemies from the air and can call in corn strikes.
The in-game shop is also shown off. Here you can use in-game currency to upgrade the characters you already have and unlock others.
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is out February 25 on Xbox One and Xbox 360 with a PC release sometime in the near future. It is unknown if the game will be released on PS4 and PS3. Check out the gameplay below:
