On April 30, all DLC released for Gran Turismo 5 will be pulled from the PlayStation Store. The information is hardly surprising, as Sony recently announced that they’d be nixing the game’s online functionality on May 20, as well as Gran Turismo TV in March.
With Gran Turismo 6 available on the PlayStation 3, and the inevitable PS4 Gran Turismo title in the works, there’s little purpose for the game’s presence on PSN. While most fans would have likely purchased any desired DLC for the 5th entry in the Gran Turismo series by now, those on the fence should consider their purchase as time is of the essence.
Accessing several DLC packs after April 30 will require downloading a free “Family Upgrade,” but should otherwise present no issues for current DLC owners.
