Kiefer Sutherland Leaks That He’s Involved In The Next Mortal Kombat Game

The upcoming Mortal Kombat title has been anxiously awaited ever since NetherRealm Studios completely knocked the last one out of the park, releasing one of the best fighters of the past console generation. Yesterday, we finally got a bit more information on the project after a big star leaked his involvement. Does it still count as a leak if the star himself is the one who leaked it? In a recent interview with IGN, Sutherland was discussing the voice acting he did for Big Boss in Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain and for some reason got a little bit off track.

“I did Mortal Kombat, and that’s such a huge game, but it’s so not like [Metal Gear Solid V].”

While he did say he finished his part in Mortal Kombat rather quickly, he did not disclose what his actual role was. This can only mean one thing: Jack Bauer is confirmed as a playable character for Mortal Kombat X or Mortal Kombat 24 as the title is already known in my head. Or maybe he was just cast as one of the actual characters in the game. I know I would immediately purchase a Mortal Kombat title featuring Kiefer Sutherland as the voice of the “TOASTY!” guy. So far, Warner Brothers has not commented on Sutherland’s statement although they are probably shaking their heads that he just ruined their big reveal for the upcoming Mortal Kombat Vs. Metal Gear Solid Universe crossover.
