One aspect the PlayStation 4 has had over its competition is the ability to share gameplay footage live from the console, instead of using an expensive capture card. It was a highlight when Microsoft announced the new console, but unfortunately it was delayed well past launch. That will change very soon as Twitch will be bringing broadcasting functionality to the Xbox One in just mere weeks.
On March 11, it will be as easy as saying “Xbox, Broadcast” to start streaming gameplay footage for all your friends the the rest of the world to see. With the Kinect, you are able to adjust the PIP webcam in any corner of the screen, and interact with viewers in various ways. With Titanfall releasing on the same day, there will no doubt be an excess amount of streamers at launch.
