Wii loyalists will most likely remember the original Swords & Soldiers. It was an excellent, zany, and beautifully chaotic 2D action-romp that originally graced the WiiWare and was then later ported to several other platforms. It took quite some time, but through a teaser trailer released earlier today, developer Romino Games has officially confirmed a followup. This sequel is simply titled Swords & Soldiers II and is currently in development for the Wii U.
There isn’t much in the debut trailer, just some cool artwork showing off the potential cast of characters and a… sheep. We will certainly hear and see more of this sequel in the near future, but in the meantime check out the superbly drawn sheep in the announcement teaser.
