In the past few years, indie games have become as critically acclaimed as big budget productions. 2013 saw Gone Home launch on PC. More and more gamers played it and the adventure game ended up making its way on many Game of the Year lists. Unfortunately, it seemed like the kind of game that would stick with PC exclusivity.
As it turns out, developer The Fullbright Company had been discussing bringing their game to a larger audience. Today they and their publishing partner, Midnight City, revealed Gone Home will be on consoles.
No systems were named but the release will be exclusively digital. Expect to see Gone Home’s upcoming launch later this year.
