After nearly two years of being on store shelves, Lollipop Chainsaw has finally managed to squeak past the one million sales milestone worldwide. Grasshopper Manufacture announced the achievement via Twitter. That may not seem like all that much in this era of modern gaming that requires multimillion sales to be considered successful, especially considering how quickly the game’s price dropped after release.
However, developer Suda51 and company are celebrating the landmark achievement as the chainsaw-toting cheerleader’s zombie-slaying adventure is by far the team’s best-selling title. They’re offering discounts on digital versions of the game in Japan.
