South Park: The Stick of Truth combines the edgy humor of Trey Parker and Matt Stone with the roleplaying mastery of Obsidian Entertainment. The result is a 10-15 hour adventure nearly identical to the show in both laughs and presentation. Here at Hardcore Gamer, we really liked the game, so we decided to put together a trophy guide for all you completionists out there. If you need additional assistance, feel free to let us know in the comments below.
Note: This guide does not follow the official trophy list in terms of order. Instead, it’s arranged according to trophy type (i.e. bronze, silver, gold, platinum), as well as ease of completion. Be sure to note the “Story Related” and “Can Be Missed” text near trophy titles, as these will determine whether the trophy is obtainable by way of simply playing through the game, or accomplishing something specific that cannot later be achieved. The trophy guide is littered with spoilers — you’ve been warned.
New Kid On The Block – Story Related
Join the KKK. Cartman will make you an official member of the Kool Kids Klub once you complete the opening quests, granting you the trophy. This will happen automatically as you progress through the story.
First Day in South Park – Story Related
Complete your first day of adventuring. After some light questing (and an alien abduction) your parents will call you to bed. Go to sleep to earn the trophy. This will happen automatically as you progress through the story.
Nonconformist – Story Related
Befriend the Goth kids. Early in the game, you’ll be required to recruit the Goth kids of South Park for Cartman’s army. The Goth’s will demand you assemble an appropriate outfit and perform an act of nonconformity before agreeing to join. This will happen automatically as you progress through the story.
Made This for You
Fling a turd of your creation at an enemy during battle. Go to any toilet in the game, play through the button-mashing mini-game and collect the poo. It’ll be in your inventory and can be tossed at an enemy during battle for gross damage/effect.
Truth to Power
Fart on four authority figures. Fart on Mayor McDaniels, Father Maxi, Principal Victoria and the Minister of Montreal.
- The Mayor can be found in City Hall
- Father Maxi can be found on the bench near City Hall
- Principal Victoria can be found at the Community Center
- Minister of Montreal can be found in the Catacombs (Canada).
Choose the name Douchebag at the beginning of the game. When you first enter Kupa Keep, Cartman will force you to choose the title Douchebag. While there’s a yes/no option on screen, the name is granted to you regardless of your choice. Simply select yes when he asks if that is your name and the trophy is yours.
Fart on a dog while in gnome form. There are plenty of dogs in the forest surrounding South Park. Find a stray dog, fart on it, and you’ll earn the trophy. Note: you can cup a fart for a ranged attack, which will allow you some distance — dogs in the forest area are aggressive and can prove challenging for lower-level, under-geared characters.
Just Saying Hi
Fart on all of your friends. You can do this at any point, even after the story is complete. The gang will be hanging out at their respective camps.
- Fart on Cartman (Kupa Keep)
- Fart on Butters (Kupa Keep)
- Fart on Stan (Kyle’s Backyard)
- Fart on Kyle (Kyle’s Backyard)
- Fart on Jimmy (Kyle’s Backyard)
Fart on 10 knocked out enemies. Win a battle and fart on enemy bodies. Do this 10 times to earn the trophy, and another 1000 because it’s funny.
Defeat 3 enemies while your buddy is knocked out. During an encounter, let your buddy get knocked out. Once he’s down, defeat a mob of 3 enemies to earn the trophy. Note: don’t revive your buddy at any point during the battle.
Collect 5 Chinpokomon. These collectibles are scattered around South Park. Check the Chimpocolypse trophy (gold) for a list of the missable Chimpokomon.
Become friends with your father. Your dad is kind of a dick — he’ll only be your friend if you’ve registered 50 other friends first. Do so, and the trophy is yours.
Ass of Fire
Defeat 20 enemies with Cartman’s ass. Cartman is a Grand Wizard and a master of fart magic, he can perform an explosive fire spell using his ass, a lighter and some good ol’ fashioned button mashing. Group with him and battle 20 enemies, utilizing his special attack in the process.
Fart on people 100 times. Walk around town, fart on people, earn the trophy. Of course, feel free to continue farting on people even after the trophy is yours. There’s nothing quite as satisfying as watching someone wave their hand frantically as they make snarly comments about your gas.
Fart on 25 animals. There are plenty of cats and rats around South park — fart on them 25 times for this trophy. Note: farting on the same animal multiple times will also earn you the trophy, so long as the fart doesn’t knock it out.
Shit your pants in three separate battles. During battle, you can lose control of your bowels by overloading on mana. Simply replenish too much of it in three different encounters and you’ll earn the trophy.
Collect half of the available costume sets. You’ll amass more outfits than you’ll ever wear, and at some point during the story this trophy will be yours. Be sure to search every container or room marked with a golden handle during story quests.
Sell 300 junk items. South Park is littered with junk for you to collect — from bottle caps to broken light bulbs. Simply sell junk as you find it and you’ll unlock this trophy.
Make it Rain
Spend $500. There likely won’t be $500 worth of stuff you’ll need throughout the story, but you can simply buy enough to earn the trophy, and sell it back to regain some of your losses. This is best done at the end of the game when money and equipment matter less.
Friends in Strange Places
Befriend the crab people and the gnomes. The gnomes can be befriended by helping the Underpants Gnomes during your encounter with them, which will require you to collect several pairs of underwear from around town. Befriending the crab people will take you to the sewers left of the Post Office (the entrance appears to be under construction). Once inside, you’ll need to delve into the deepest depths, and there you’ll find a lone crab person yelping. Note: you’ll need to have learned the Nagasaki Fart in Canada beforehand, as there’s a wall that requires its power.
Score 100 perfect attacks over the course of the game. Assuming you’re not absolutely terrible at video games, this trophy should come naturally.
Block 100 attacks over the course of the game. Assuming you’re not absolutely terrible at video games, this trophy should come naturally.
Let Kenny die 10 times in combat over the course of the game. Use Kenny as your buddy during battle, and allow for him to die 10 times. There’s even a nifty little Kenny death counter at the top of the screen.
Gingivitis – Can Be Missed
Let 3 ginger kids bite you without blocking. In an early story segment, you’ll visit the school in order to rescue Craig from detention. Along the way, ginger’s will attack you. Let them bite you (a signature attack they utilize frequently) 3 times during battle to earn the trophy.
Day Walker – Can Be Missed
Beat the Hall Monitor with the freckles makeup on. When visiting the school in order to save Craig, you’ll encounter a boss Ginger Hall Monitor toward the end of the quest. As long as your character is equipped with the freckles, you’ll receive the trophy upon completion of the battle.
- Freckles can be found during the quest to save Craig from detention on the bodies of Ginger’s you’ve defeated.
Are We Cool – Can Be Missed
Find Jesus while playing the Jew class. Find Father Maxi — which is located on a bench near City Hall — to receive a quest that requires you to find Jesus. If you follow the quest marker, you’ll discover Jesus hiding in the church. You’ll need to find him twice for the trophy.
- The first time Jesus will be hiding behind some church benches. Simply listen for his “tee hee,” as he’ll peek out while giggling.
- The second time Jesus will be behind the podium. Arrange the lights surrounding it to reveal him.
Inside Joke – Can Be Missed
Summon Mr. Slave inside of Mr. Slave. Toward the end of the adventure, you’ll be required to enter the anus of Mr. Slave in order to retrieve a snuke that was installed by government agents. Inside, you’ll do battle with an assortment of enemies. Simply try to summon Mr. Slave during any random encounter to gain the trophy.
Parkeologist – Can Be Missed
Open every garage in South Park. As you explore the world, search through every household to find various garage keys. Make sure to do so before beginning the final string of quests, as they could prevent certain keys from being obtained.
For the Hoarder – Can Be Missed
Don’t sell any items. You’ll collect a massive amount of junk, usable items, weapons and armor throughout the game. Don’t sell any of it, and the trophy is yours. You’re free to sell all of it after the main story is complete.
Irritable Bowels – Can Be missed
Shit your pants during a boss battle. To do this, you’ll need to consume more mana than is necessary to fill your meter. Once you do, you’ll begin to poo uncontrollably. Make sure to do this before completing the main story, as there will no longer be bosses to battle once the main quest is complete.
Dragon Wrath – Can Be Missed
Knock out at least 3 enemies with a fart outside of battle. Trick 3 enemies into standing near a flame with the “Silent Squeaker,” then cup a fart to detonate the fire. There are multiple points in the story where this option is available, the first being at the school during the quest in which you unleash an assault on the elves.
Two Girls, One Stick – Can Be Missed
Defeat Kenny with your girl makeover disguise. You’ll gain the girl attire during the main story in an instance where the girls’ help is required by the boys. Equip the items and accessory provided during the quest, battle Princess Kenny, and the trophy is yours. You can keep them on afterwards if it makes you feel pretty. Note: be sure to equip the items before beginning the final string of quests (beginning with the assault on Clyde’s treehouse).
Face Hoff – Can Be Missed
Defeat Princess Kenny after getting the “Hoff” nose job at Tom’s Rhinoplasty. I recommend doing this as soon as you can afford it, as the final few quests are tied together and cannot be exited. Once you look like the Hoff, simply defeat Kenny in the final battle to earn the trophy. Of course, the trophy isn’t the only reason it’s good to be the Hoff.
Re-Buttal – Can Be Missed
Interrupt 5 channeled spells by using a fart attack. During some battles, your opponent will attempt to channel a powerful attack — this process normally lasts 2 turns. Simply use your fart magic on them before they execute their attack to earn the trophy. Note: enemies that channel spells are nowhere to be found once the story is complete, so do this early to secure the trophy.
Heisenberg – Can Be Missed
Defeat the Meth Tweekers with the Evil Cartman goatee and a bald cap. In the onset of the main story, you’ll be tasked with assembling 3 of Cartman’s soldiers. Tweek, one of the soldiers on the roster, demands you pick up a delivery for his father’s coffee shop before agreeing to accompany you. To do so, you must travel to Kenny’s house and grab the package from the Tweekers living in his garage. They’ll attack you when they realize that you aren’t Tweek, so arm yourself with the required items beforehand and the trophy is yours.
- The Evil Cartman goatee is located in Cartman’s home (search the living room and his bedroom).
- The bald cap is located in the jail cell at the police station.
Perverted – Can Be Missed
Watch your parents do the nasty for at least 60 seconds. There’s a part of the game that requires you pass through your parents bedroom while chasing the Underpants Gnome that shrunk you. During the chase you’ll find yourself on your parents’ dresser while they make sweet, sweet love. Watch them for 60 seconds to earn the trophy, or longer if you’re a weirdo.
No Child Left Behind – Can Be Missed
Complete the game without ending a battle with a knocked out buddy. As long as you stock up on revivals this trophy is quite easy to obtain. Thankfully, the game throws so many healing items, revivals, weapon strap-ons and armor patches your way, keeping a buddy alive — or revived — isn’t very hard.
Outpatient – Can Be Missed
Defeat Kenny while infected with AIDS. Contracting AIDS in South Park isn’t particularly difficult — and it has nothing to do with Mr./Ms. Garrison. Travel to Canada, battle some Dire Wolves, let them bite you during battle and you’ll have Dire AIDS. There’s an option to cure the disease in town (Canada), but do so after you get your trophy.
Full Arsenal – Can Be Missed
Own every weapon and costume in the game. Searching for, and claiming every weapon and costume in the game can take quite a while, and some can be missed entirely. Be sure to search every container or room marked with a golden handle during the story quests.

Too Far – Can Be Missed
Fart on the corpse of an aborted Nazi Zombie fetus. On one of your recruitment quests for the girls of South Park, you’ll be tasked with infiltrating an abortion clinic that has been overrun by Zombie Nazi’s. Here, you will encounter Nazi Zombie fetuses. Fart on them after battle and the trophy is yours.
Mastery – Can Be Missed
Unlock all of the upgrades for any one of New Kids’ abilities. It’s wise to invest your first chunk of points into a single powerful attack, as this can help during trickier encounters. However, it’s possible to spread your points across the 4 available skills. Just keep in mind that you only ever earn 14 points.
Stick Savior – Story Related
Defeat Princess Kenny and recover the Stick of Truth. This will happen automatically as you complete the story.
Collect 15 Chinpokomon. These collectibles are scattered around South Park. There are several Chinpokomon that can be missed. Check the “Chimpocolypse” trophy (gold) for a list of all the missable Chimpokomon.

- PoodleSaurus Rex – During the first school quest, you’ll find the Chinpokomon in a ceiling vent in the hallway.
- Beetlebot – Once you free Randy in the Alien Spaceship you’ll gain a Power Crystal. Head to the right after taking the elevator down — you’ll find the Chinpokomon atop some monitors.
- Donkeytron – During your second quest at the school, when you enter through the Faculty Only entrance, the Chinpokomon is located inside the oven in that very room.
- Pteradaken – During the battle at the school between Cartman and Kyle, the Chinpokomon can be found in the first row of lockers near the “Bull-etin Board.”
- Fetuswami – When you reach the abortion clinic, all hell breaks loose. While drudging through the mess, you’ll come across a solider with a grenade in his hand. Shoot it to open a hole in the wall which can be accessed in your shrunken state (by using Gnome Dust).
- Roidrat – During your quest at The Giggling Donkey, before you enter the basement to battle Jimmy, you’ll find the Chinpokomon in his attic.
- Gunrilla – In the meeting room of the mall/construction site where the tape recorder is located, you’ll find the Chinpokomon to the left of the same room.
- Mouse-Tik – Once you complete the final quest for the girls, you’ll be able to roam freely in their clubhouse before requesting to be blindfolded and sent away. The Chinpokomon is on the ground to the left.
- Shoe – During the last string of quests, you’ll be able to use the teleporation device in your ass to reach the roof of the treehouse. The Chinpokomon is at the very top.

More Popular Than John Lennon – Can Be Missed
Befriend everyone in South Park. There’s a total of 120 friends, so you’ll need 120 for the trophy. There are several friends that can be missed; the following are missable friends:
- Lemmiwinks – During the quest in which you need to choose between Kyle and Cartman, enter the fifth grade classroom to the right before beginning the final segment to the left. Lemmiwinks will be in the classroom.
- The Bishop of Banff – During the quest in which you’re tasked to kill the Bishop, simply spare his life and he’ll befriend you. He vanishes after the encounter.
- Ike – When a kid makes Ike cry during a late game story quest, fart on the broken lantern to knock out the enemy. Ike will add you shortly thereafter.
- Sergeant Yates – Before completing the main story, finish his quest. He’ll be waiting at the police station and add you once you talk to him.
- Big Gay Al – While inside of Mr. Slave, answer the ringing phone before it hangs up. It’ll be Big Gay Al, who will befriend you immediately. Note: the phone only rings twice, so answer it quickly.

South Park: The Stick of Truth Platinum Trophy
Collect all South Park: The Stick of Truth trophies. The main quest may only run you about 10 hours, with another 2 or 3 for side-quests, but South Park has quite a few collectibles to gather. A completionist can squeeze a good 20 hours from the game — even more with a second playthrough.
