Stability Patch For Titanfall On PC and Xbox One Out Now

If you haven’t heard the news, Titanfall is out now on Xbox One and PC.  The highly-anticipated game from Respawn Entertainment and EA went live last night for both platforms.  While many have been able to enjoy the game, others have been at the mercy of launch problems.  Well Respawn Entertainment is here with a quick fix.

Posting on the game’s Facebook page, Respawn has confirmed that a brand new patch has been released for both versions.  The aim is to improve stability.  The patch comes in at about 380MB.

“We’re aware that some users may have experienced early issues on PC and Xbox One,” the statement reads. “We’ve just pushed a patch that’s now recovering servers quickly. Players will load into Private Lobbies much faster and we’re continuing to monitor.”

Titanfall does not even come close to being as bad as previous EA titles on launch day.  SimCity’s servers were completely broken last March when the game launched thanks to always-online DRM.  Battlefield 4 was a complete disaster on all platforms and caused development on future Dice products to halt while the company tried to fix the game.  So yes, Titanfall is doing much better than other EA titles.

Titanfall is out now on Xbox One and PC.  The Xbox 360 version is out March 25.
