Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels Releases on Wii U

If you’re a Wii U owner, the Virtual Console just got a slice sexier with the release of Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels, also known as Super Mario Bros 2 to our Japanese brethren. While most of the differences between this release and other Mario iterations of the time are negligible, the game is a tad more difficult, and offers a nice challenge to those recovering from the friendlier Super Mario 3D World.

Mario fans the world over should consider this an open invitation to rescue Princess Peace once again — of course, you’ll need to be the owner of a Wii U to play.
