Tomonobu Itagaki is ready to re-reveal Devil’s Third to the world. The action-adventure game was announced back at E3 2010 and was to be published by THQ. However, Devil’s Third was one of the titles THQ dropped in 2012 amid the publisher’s financial troubles. However, the game is still happening and will be re-revealed this year.
As already announced, we’ll finally reveal “Devil’s Third” this year,” Itagaki announced on his Facebook page. “You can see that we’ve upgraded our title logo. I wanted to go for the metallic feeling of the Breitling that I love so much. But I don’t really wanna tell you exactly why, sorry;D.”
Devil’s Third is the first title from Valhalla Game Studios, and the first from Tomonobu Itagaki since his very public split from Tecmo Koei back in 2008. The last game he made was Ninja Gaiden 2, back when he was still in charge of Team Ninja.
Devil’s Third was announced for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. It is currently unknown if the game has switched platforms. We’ll most likely learn more about the game at E3 2014.
