Okay, this is starting to get confusing. Ridley Scott and David Zucker, two guys with an impressive collective background in film, have recently been employed to produce a “digital feature project” that isn’t the Halo TV show. It’s difficult to gauge what the project may be, but it’s reportedly not a film — at least not any sort of full-length, large budget type.
Microsoft guarantees that this secret project won’t interfere with the development of the Spielberg Halo series, which has been seemingly stagnant for some time now, but hasn’t shared many details beyond the existence of the project. The whatever-the-hell-this-is will be coming later this year, and will not involve any major recognizable characters.
